The First Biodegradable, Compostable Single Serve Premium Tea Now at The Fresh Market
NOVATO, CALIF., (March 24, 2014)- The Republic of Tea, leading purveyor of premium teas, is proud to announce the innovative new One Cuppa™ single serve teas, compatible with most single serve brewing machines (Keurig), are now available for purchase at The Fresh Market stores nationwide. The Fresh Market stores will carry four unique and delicious flavors at all of its 152 stores in 26 states.
One Cuppa’s, Premium Tea without the Teapot, are filled with only the finest quality tea, handpicked from the most prized tea gardens around the world and offer a convenient way to enjoy an authentic tea experience at home or in the office. In keeping with The Republic of Tea’s commitment to sustainability and harmony with the environment, One Cuppa pods are 95% biodegradable. The One Cuppa lid, ring and inner bad degrade in an anaerobic environment and no not to be exposed to sunlight or oxygen, just moisture. The tea leaves themselves are also compostable.
The four flavors available for purchase at The Fresh Market are all Gluten-Free Certified. Each can be served hot or over a tall glass of ice:
