Savor one of these sweet treats, featuring our Tablespoon Milk Tea Concentrate and Better Boba™ All Natural Tapioca Pearls.
Boba Milk Tea
Directions (one serving):
1. Prepare Better Boba™ on the stovetop or within an Instant Pot®, per package directions.
2. For sweetened boba, add 1 Tbsp of agave nectar, honey or brown sugar to the prepared boba. Add more or less sweetener to your preference.
3. Place 2 Tbsp of the unsweetened or sweetened boba in a glass, then add Tablespoon Milk Tea prepared per bottle directions. (Can also be added to Tablespoon Chai or Tablespoon London Fog.)
SipTip: If the boba sticks together after preparation and storage in the refrigerator, add 1-2 teaspoons of hot water to the boba and stir.
Dirty Soda Milk Tea
Directions (one serving):
1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
2. Add in 1 Tbsp of Milk Tea Concentrate and 2 Tbs half and half, coffee creamer or coconut milk.
3. Pour in 6 oz of sparkling water and stir till just blended.
Peanut Butter Milk Tea
Directions (one serving):
1. Blend 1 tsp of peanut butter with 1 Tbsp Milk Tea Concentrate and 7 oz milk.
2. Serve iced or hot.
Black Sesame Milk Tea
Directions (one serving):
1. Blend 1 tsp black sesame powder (find on Amazon or in Asian markets) with 1 Tbsp Milk Tea Concentrate and 7 oz milk.
2. Serve iced or hot.
Fresh Mint Milk Tea
Directions (one serving):
1. Add 1/2 cup each of water and milk with a spring of fresh mint to a saucepan and heat till just simmering.
2. Remove mint and stir in 1 Tbsp Milk Tea Concentrate.
3. Serve hot or let cool and pour over ice.
Rose Milk Tea
Directions (one serving):
1. Blend 1 tsp rose water (or more if preferred) with 1 Tbsp Milk Tea Concentrate and 7 oz milk.
2. Serve iced or hot.
Sweet Potato Milk Tea
Directions (one serving):
1. Blend 1 Tbsp boiled and peeled sweet potato with 1 Tbsp Milk Tea Concentrate and 7 oz milk.
2. Serve iced or hot.
Milk Tea Mousse
Ingredients:
1 tsp gelatin powder
2 Tbsp water
3/4 cup milk
2 servings Tablespoon Milk Tea
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp heavy cream
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over the water and allow it to bloom for a few minutes.
2. In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a simmer.
Stir in the Tablespoon Milk Tea, gelatin mixture and sugar. Continue mixing till the sugar is dissolved. Be careful not to boil.
3. Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridge for about 20 minutes. It should have a thick consistency, but not be too solid.
4. In another bowl, whisk the cold heavy cream until it is slightly fluffy.
5. Combine the two mixtures together until well incorporated and pour into containers.
6. Cover and place in the refrigerator. Serve when fully chilled.
Milk Tea Pudding
Ingredients:
2-1/4 cups half and half
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup lightly packed light brown sugar
3 servings Tablespoon Milk Tea
3 Tbsp unsalted butter, cubed
3 Tbsp corn starch, sifted
Directions:
1. In a medium pot, bring 2 cups of half and half to a simmer, but do not boil. 2. Add the sugars and Tablespoon Milk Tea, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
2. Add in the butter and continue to stir until melted.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining half and half with the cornstarch.
4. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the half and half, whisking constantly to ensure there are no clumps. Continue cooking until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
5. Transfer the mixture to a container. Cover with plastic wrap with the plastic wrap touching the top of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming.
6. Chill for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
Milk Tea Butter
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1 serving Tablespoon Milk Tea
Directions:
1. Whip the butter with an electric mixer until smooth and lightly fluffy.
2. Beat in Tablespoon Milk Tea until well combined.
3. Serve on toast, waffles or crackers.
Milk Tea Syrup
Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 serving Tablespoon Milk Tea
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
2. Use as a sweetener to your drink or drizzle over food.
Milk Tea Buttercream
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
3-1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
3 servings Tablespoon Milk Tea
Directions:
1. Using an electric mixer with a paddle attachment, cream butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
2. Add in powdered sugar and mix until incorporated. Scrape down the bowl as needed.
3. Add in Tablespoon Milk Tea and mix till fully combined.
4. Use as frosting to your favorite cake recipe or pipe onto cupcakes.
5. Tip: use cooked boba balls as a “sprinkle” over the buttercream frosting.
